Article Abstract
Scombroid-fish poisoning is associated with urinary excretion of histamine in quantities far exceeding those required to produce toxicity.The histamine is most likely derived from the spoiled fish.These results identify histamine as the toxin responsible for scrombroid-fish poisoning.
